The secret to the Flexcut tool’s incredible ability to flex or bend without breaking is, extra thin, specially treated, dual tempered spring steel that gives under pressure, yet has an incredible stay - sharp blade hardness of Rc 60-61. For improved maneuverability in tight areas, tool shapes are designed slightly flared back from cutting edge, similar to a modified fishtail shape for maximum pivot. Designed specifically for the incomparable control that only hand pushing can provide, blades are pre-sharpened to a razor sharp edge at a much lower angle then other tools to slice through wood effortlessly.
