22 LPI SPACING CUTTER. This is a professional quality, spacing cutter for making a parrellel second line while gun checkering. The cutter is made from hardened D-2 tool steel and features EDM super sharp wire-cut teeth. The Electrical discharge machining (EDM) process creates a superior cutter unequaled by conventional grinding. Unlike ordinary checkering tools the specially designed teeth feature huge chip clearance to cut cleanly with minimal effort. The result is smoother professional quality cuts and a practically unlimited service life! Note: This is a cutter only, it requires the 887001 tool handle and holder (may also fit older W.E. Brownell "full-view" checkering handles). Mastercarver® brand. Note: Cutter is marked with LPI (Lines Per Inch) spacing for easy identification. Cutter length: 7/16" (11mm). Made in U.S.A.
